Reviewing a lot of gear at once here!  For many of us, running is a sport of trial and error with training, nutrition, and gear.  This summer I headed back to the USA to pick of a lot of running equipment to try out on a local bike path.  

This time, I am hampered by a particular injury that many runners are familiar with....an Achilles tendon problem which affects me when I point my toe or jump vertically.  Unfortunately, I have to pass on an invitation to climb Snow Mountain due to the problem.  I am reducing my runs to three per week with recovery days of low-impact cross training between each one.
