Zipping files is a great way to save space and keep your files organised. Most of the files you download from the Internet are often compressed or zipped and you can easily identify compressed files by their extensions, such as .zip format. But sometimes file formats like RAR, Gzip, etc fails to open on Mac. For this Mac requires separate applications to access these files.

I have tried many utilities to compress and extract files on mac and have found keka to do good work. It works well especially on two parameters…

First – It helps to split large files into smaller volumes.
Secondly – You can easily set the password to the zip.
Last but not the least it supports most of the popular file formats.

Download Keka from App Store: https://www.android.com/filetransfer/
